scott, you're a rockstar and you're going to crush it out there tomorrow. you're a good guy and a exceptionally talented athlete (and a pretty damn engaging writer too); and nobody deserves to succeed more. you will find that "optimal state of arousal" for the next couple of weeks, wherein the pressure the race brings is just enough to motivate you - because you will do your best. you can't do more, and you won't do less.
so thanks for everything, man! and kick as much ass as you can, i'll be living it vicariously tomorrow on oln/versus.
