the thing about cycling, that is different, say, than tennis. . or boxing, is that there's no looser. no rider has a win-loss record. . you enter races, you do what you can .. if you don't finish, you write it off, . .not a loss, rather a "mechanical", or a "bonk" .. . .but, never a loss. . .and in the same way, you can success even without "winning" . . and/but, the only thing you do keep track of are wins. . .hmm? . .
Moninger DID win though. and i got myself the KOM jersey, for at least the next couple days, until whatever happens sunday.
