sort of back to 100 percent. nothing like a european stage race and 12 hours of flying to distort your reality, balance, inner ear, inner child, bathroom clock, leg power and speed, coordination and the like. yet i remain on the long steep learning curve. .. it is getting to the point: what you do off the bike is what determines how fast you go. not only what you do on the bike, training. that's simple. you might be able to go hard, but it will be a less-hard in you don't have the rest of your poo together. . . [end] .. back in sebastopol spending time with Jennifer. weather's perfect. . today i start back on the training again after 4 days of rest. Levi's in the Pyrenees getting knowledgeable about the tour climbs. so the roads are quiet, i mean, relatively. it IS California. . so Laura, Gavin's significant other, set me up for a group ride with her juniors team. . memorial day we go big, north and out to the coast and back. should be a hoot. . . so i'm no longer desperate for training partners. . .
hey all ya'all in the rockie mountain region . . i'll do the feed zone at Dead Dog Classic. . i'm going to be in town but taking a break from racing. . so lets see it you high altitude aerobic freaks! june 23-24
