| http://velonews.com/vntv/ this is how i see it: above all (if you keep religion out of the discussion) we're American. so i think you want Levi to win. but, if he doesn't make on the top of the podium, you (i) want to see a BMC bicycle rider on the top-- as that could mean better/good things for our US-based team sponsorship .. and, people, the BMC family is exactly that, a family .. Astana hasn't quite bought into that says my informants. but, hey, they make the bikes go fast! be sure to check out Vinokurov's time trial bike, the Time Machine TT01. . it's a beaut! and very few of them out there. otherwise, Cadel Evans, the Aussie, in the video conference (link above) didn't mention Levi as one of his top rivals, therefore we hope Levi sticks it to him. otherwise, you might root for the guy b/c he's always been an underdog. Valverde, he's Spanish, fast. kind of does it all. If any thing, he's an amazing rider to watch. Sastre. . he's a family man. He's like Pikaart, but shorter, probably the same body fat %, and Spanish, not Dutch. If Sastre wasn't on a bike, he'd be holding a crying kid. so you gotta have a spot for this guy. hope you all have the VS. station! |
