three substantial climbs today. they took the big steep one out, the one from years past, and replaced it with the same one we did stage 3. which, wasn't enough to narrow things down b/c it's not steep enough. so really, this race GC overall came down to the Team TIME trial, stage one. had we known this change of course ahead time, perhaps we'd of made a change of plan. when you see that Moninger's not going for it, you know it's going to be lame sprint. about 50 dudes went to the line on a stage where normally 5 or 8 .. and then dudes trickling in every minute or so. .. sucks
