i deteriated throughout the day .. managed to make it to the last climb
with the main peleton,
but then cracked .. to pieces. . felt like my lower back was going to snap in half.
. . i finished the stage, so i live to see if i can ride tomorrow.
testa our Dr. gave me an IV .. started me on some mild antibiotics. .

suggestion from Mr P .. there's live coverage on the www.amgentourofca.com web page.

they finally got it working. that link sapped a few minutes of my time today too ... hard to pull away from it.

it might be too late, but try to load up on L-Glutamine. i know, everybody has a secret and getting someone's cold remedy is like hearing about their favorite band. but this shit works, and there's good solid research to support it ... and a good reason why. your system runs on glutamine, and when it's stressed it takes it from the immune system. simple, but it's killed almost every cold i've had in the last 10 years.

get well soon.

Keith is crazy. All you need is a little tang. get well soon or coat the other riders tires in tar.

damn logan, you're right! tang and wheaties should do the trick.

oh, and i hear well-placed thumbtacks work almost as well as tar - but are somewhat more subtle. nobody to (try to) point the finger at ya.

I can't believe you made it up that climb in your condition. It looked brutal. Hope you are feeling better! We are all cheering you on here in CO, including Jess and Elsie! They are already bragging to their frieds about you...

Hey Scott, tough day for you! But you just proved you are not just tough, you are SMART too. Most men I know would have quit on Wednesday instead of gutsing it out like you did. If I buy a BMC jersey, will you autograph it for me?
