stage results from the Road Race stage, San Dimas. . we started the day in motley fashion, Moninger in the yellow leader's jersey, McKissik in the poka dot KOM, and Miller in the white best under 23 rider jersey. . .we rolled on the front from the get go, letting some break attacks go, until the wrong people would try to get in them, then chasing them down.. reshuffling the cards, then another attack, then another attack etc. . . repeat X 20 .. . nonetheless a hard day with a lot of wind the face. . .but. . each time over the climb, KOM we drilled it, basically sprinting up the short climb.. shattering the field, down to like 40 guys just after 30 miles. . then

nearing the climb on lap six. . Sayers and Vitoria LIT it up going into the climb, single file .. cutting things down to a dozen or so guys. .. then Cesar flatted (our biggest threat) and we dilled it, to knock things out .. . i was dieing at times, but managed to recover. . a normalized average watts of 363 for 2:50 hr:min and 70-ish miles .. a personal record. . .BMC showed up today/ made Gavin happy, and hopfully the people who invite teams to the tour of Georgia. . it was pretty sweet . .Sayers and Moninger are wizards when it comes to this. . . learning curve steep for the neo's.
