Giro Del FRIULI !

In the first stage will be crossed the frontier and the race will run in Slovenia for 85 km, with three brief climbs (Cvetjie, Sabotin and Gonjace) before returning in Italy through the frontier near Vencòl. In the first semi-stage of thursday 10h may, Trieste – Monfalcone, will be face the climb of San Martino del Carso, 20 km to go, that probably won’t be deciding for stage victory. Third stage has a very rough final, with San Giorgio’s climb put only 11 kilometers to go. The last two stages are the ones that probably will decide final classification: Coseano – Ravascletto will pass through Sella Cesclans (km 55), Sella di Razzo (1760 m high), and it will finish in Ravascletto, after an ascent of 7 km. On Sunday an other mountain – stage will take place: cyclists will pass across Pala Barzana, Piancavallo (1280 m high) and Castello di Caneva, 10 km to go, that might be a perfect springboard towards the finish in Sacile.
