Yesterday the nor cal posy was reassembled. we all met at the intersection north of town and went for an easy one through the rolling hills toward Healdsburg. Chris the Kona mtn biker, GiomPalo the ultra masters rider Riviera owner, Bill the 69 year old dude half wheeler from haties (who honestly can still ride and looks like he's 20 years younger win on the bike) and a "homeless guy on a bike" as Levi calls it when some passer by stops and sees the guys, sees the Discovery kit, and sometimes w/o saying anything, waits around, and jumps on the back for a ride... (he likes it). there were some good stories to tell, all relative. his drama with the ultra elite, and mine with my Boulderite neo-pro Nemesis's. .. all beef to fuel the fire.

Sometimes, I am held up, whether driving, walking back from school, or hiking glory. I think about how truely wonderful this journey of yours has been. And here you are, measured not by your GC results but by the journey, your determination to live in dramatic terms... Sometimes there's road blocks... You take them on like like that hill in front of you.
